4. controller
The controller can adjust and control the power from the solar panels. The adjusted power is transferred to AC load and surplus into the battery. The controller transfers the power in battery to load when the generated power can not meet the load requirement. And it also can avoid over-charging and over discharging respectively after the battery is charged and discharged fully in order to protect the battery. The bad performance of controller will effect greatly on the service life of battery and on the stability of system finally.
5. inverter
The system uses pure-sine-wave inverter, and its feature is: stable output voltage (AC220V). No-clutter wave is better than the current mains power, so called pure sine wave. It is mainly used for ships and communications network, having full protection, such as voltage stabilization, undervoltage protection, overload protection, short circuit protection.
6. Common faults and resolution
No.
faults
Reason
Resolution
1
No power input
Bad connection of input plug of solar panels and socket of controller-inverter
Take out the plug and reinsert
the wielding leads of panel loose
Re-weld the leads
Internal fault of panel
Replace the panels
2
Can not charge
Disconnection and loose connection of the charging circuit
Check the circuit and connect the leads
Fault of controller-inverter
Repair or replace the controller-inverter
big fault of internal resistance of battery
Replace the battery
3
Inefficient power
Exceed the rated load
Reduce the load to rated
Power in battery not enough
Increase the power
4
No output
LV or HV shown on the interface
Check the DC input too high or too low
OL or SL shown on the interface
Reduce load or repair short-circuit
Bad connection between output plug and socket
Reinsert the plug
Wire loose or disconnect
Check the circuit and re-weld
Failure of controller-inverter
Repair or replace the machine
